Sunday…………Closed (Except during Sunday Night Folk Series)
…and whenever the door’s open! We are a community supported non-profit art space. As such, we are always looking for volunteers and interns to help us staff our open hours, so let us know if you’d like to serve the arts community by joining our team. If we are closed during open hours, it’s because of our limited staff and we apologize! Call for appointments.
RENTING NEW CITY: New City has a partnership with local booking agency Almost There for concerts outside of our own Sunday Night Folk series (which runs in the winter and spring). Please contact Almost There for booking indie rock/experimental genre shows at New City. We love helping small arts non-profits by offering affordable rental fees so get in touch about your proposed event (we can’t accommodate all requests given our part time staff). We also rent our main gallery space to individuals and bands that can bring their own support staff for opening/closing–our standard fee for events outside our own programming/partnerships is $150 per event (if the event is over 3 hours we charge an additional $50 fee).
